A few weeks ago, our sales and marketing team flew to the Hawaiian island of Oahu to attended AFCEA’s 2014 TechNet Asia-Pacific conference. The conference, now in its 29th year,  was held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort from December 9-11, and drew more than 3,000 attendees and 150 exhibitors. The show provided USPACOM, an Area of Responsibility with growing world importance, with information on the latest technologies and solutions to meet the Services’ requirements and needs.

We showcased Voyager throughout the week and focused on demonstrating to attendees the capabilities and features of the Voyager 8 system and the new Voyager Executive Communications Kit (VoyagerECK). Our booth was packed every day of the show and we are very pleased with the turnout from USARPAC, USPACAF and other USPACOM commands.

On Wednesday evening, following the close of the scheduled conference seminars, we hosted a networking reception at the popular beachside Rumfire restaurant. Over 50 conference attendees were able to join us for food, drinks and good conversation in our private cabana that faced the magnificent Waikiki sunset overlooking Diamond Head.

Overall, our team enjoyed the new connections and opportunities that arose as a result of the week.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth! We look forward to participating with AFCEA Hawaii again in the future.
