Klas Telecom’s communications systems are more than field proven, they’re the systems of choice
The Voyager modular and scalable baseband system has been adopted by the U.S. military’s elite communications elements and joint organizations, and has been widely deployed within the Special Operations Command (SOCOM), every Unified Combatant Command (UCC), and is in use by many top-ranking U.S. generals and their communications teams. Voyager has been tested and deployed by NATO and partner nations and is gaining international praise.
Klas Telecom has a long standing history with the U.S. DoD and, having its start developing serial, ISDN and IP connectivity devices for use with Inmarsat B, Inmarsat GAN M4 and Inmarsat BGAN systems. These devices were also used with KIV-7 encryptors and STE secure phones to connect PCs to classified networks. In 2006, the company leveraged this knowledge and experience of satellite and encryption technologies to develop the Pioneer range of baseband fly-away kits for executive communications and intelligence users, and shipped over two thousand systems from 2006 to 2010. Since then, over 10,000 government satellite-based communication deployments have relied on Klas Telecom technology.
