Klas Telecom joins Verizon and Nokia for the second annual Operation Convergent Response (#OCR2018) public safety technology expo and live demonstration event taking place at the Guardian Centers, in Perry, Ga., November 5-8, 2018. #OCR2018 brings together dozens of the world’s most innovative companies to showcase their technologies that enhance emergency response operations.
At the expo, Klas Telecom will demonstrate its latest solutions for equipping emergency first responders with critical voice, video and data communications capability in the field. The company will showcase Voyager, a modular and scalable networking communications system of systems, that offers first responders and public safety professionals the latest technology available in lightweight and portable LTE, SATCOM and Wi-Fi systems that can be rapidly deployed at a moment’s notice. Voyager mitigates common public safety communications issues by delivering reliable; battery-backed; low size, weight and power (SWaP) systems that provide network interoperability, continuous communications and enterprise-grade compute and data storage capability in harsh environments and the most challenging operational scenarios.
As part of the live demonstration exercise, Voyager will be featured in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), providing data storage for vCore’s 4Dscape software, internet connectivity for AEGEX and all of their IOT sensors, and network access from Verizon’s Core to the EOC.
