Members of Klas Telecom’s Washington, D.C., Reston, Va., and Dublin, Ireland offices gathered in London during the second week of September to attend and exhibit at DSEI – the world leading international defense and security conference and exhibition that takes place biannually. The show lived up to its claim with two massive exhibition halls, over 32,000 attendees from 121 countries, and 1,489 exhibitors.
Klas Telecom was located in the Security and Special Forces Zone in the Cyber Security Pavilion with other exhibitors such as Cisco, Apex Global, Emerson, and Fujitsu.
At the show Klas Telecom showcased an integrated cellular, VoIP, RoIP, and video solution leveraging VoyagerCell, Cisco IPICS, Cisco Call Manager, Haivision Kraken, and Persistent Systems Wave Relay Radios. Herman Leybovich, a senior network architect for Klas, configured the demo for the company and ran it all off three 7.4″ W x 6.3″ L x 2″ H Voyager networking modules.
“It was my first time at DSEI, and it was a great experience.” said Leybovich. “It was exciting to collaborate with our partners and develop a solution that offers insight into the full capabilities of the Voyager system. There was significant interest by those who saw the demo in the ability to bring disparate communications systems together into a common infrastructure, all on a small, scalable, and rugged platform.”
The show’s four full days made for a long, but exciting week.
“It was definitely worth our investment,” said the company’s CEO John Gallagher. “It was valuable to network with other technology providers concerning our cellular solutions, and what we learned will serve to guide our future roadmap and enhance our offerings.”
Klas Telecom plans to attend the next DSEI in 2015 to develop similar business-to-business relationships and showcase the latest developments in the company’s technology.
