Oct. 16, 2015 (Washington, D.C.) – Klas Telecom, an engineering and design company that specializes in secure network edge communications technology, has moved its U.S. government sales headquarters to a bigger and better space in Herndon, Virginia to accommodate the company’s rapid growth over the past few years. The move will more than double the company’s current office space and add areas for technology demonstrations, training, engineering labs and executive briefings.

Klas Telecom CEO John Gallagher stated that, “this new headquarters allows us to grow our business and make room for the future. We are seeing exciting things in our markets and we want to be prepared to respond.”

The company’s growth, in large part, is due to the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) increasing adoption of the Klas Telecom Voyager product line. Voyager is an innovative deployable networking technology system of systems designed for use in austere environments where low size, weight, power and ruggedization are crucial. In July 2014, Voyager was added to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Approved Products List (APL) enabling any DoD component to purchase the system and operate it across all DoD network infrastructure.

The company held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new office headquarters this past Friday where they also announced two new additions to their distinguished board of directors.
