VoyagerESR integrates a Cisco 5915 ESR with a Klas-designed switch that extends the router’s capabilities to provide additional interfaces and features while minimizing module size, weight and power. VoyagerESR expands the two routed and 3 switched ports of the Cisco 5915 ESR to provide 2 routed ports and 12 switched ports, 4 of which have PoE. VoyagerESR also provides removable eToken-like configuration storage along with support for cellular/wireless, serial and FXS. Ruggedization is a key feature with a lightweight, milled aluminum enclosure and dustcaps for all ports.

Cisco Discovery Protocol

 

Expanding the Cisco 5915 base functionality while maintaining an integrated IoS-centric approach is a key feature of VoyagerESR. Cisco Discovery Protocol provides easy integration with a Cisco VoIP network with support for VLAN and QoS features. In addition troubleshooting is made easy using CDP commands on VoyagerESR.

■ Voyager 8: provides 100 W of PoE power (48 VDC), sufficient to power sixteen Class 2 PoE phones at 6.25 W each
