Klas Telecom spent last week meeting with customers and partners in the SATCOM industry during the Satellite 2014 Conference and Exhibition that was held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The show was well attended by both government and industry, and Klas CEO John Gallagher reported it to be the best Satellite to date for the company.
“Klas has attended Satellite for 11 years, and this one was our finest,” Gallagher said. “I think the budget being approved had a positive affect on government attendance and we were glad that so many of our customers were able to make it to the show.” Gallagher also noted that since the company’s inaugural participation in Satellite, Klas’s portfolio of products has vastly expanded and now applies to a wider audience and set of use cases within the SATCOM market.
The company hosted a party at a restaurant in Georgetown, the location of Klas’ DC office, for customers and partners alike on the Wednesday night of the conference. The party was held in conjunction with Trace Systems, TeleCommunication Systems, and Tampa Microwave with over 90 guests in attendance.
“We value our customers and appreciate the opportunity to let them know how grateful we are for the hard work they do,” Klas Telecom’s president Glenn Hannon said. “It’s the least we can do.”
Gallagher stated that if Satellite 2014 is an indication of how the rest of this year’s industry conferences and events go, it will be a good year indeed.[
